Enable the Online Menu Microsite & Online Ordering
To enable your talech Online Ordering website, you will first need to log in to http://www.talech.com.
Once you've logged in, navigate to Settings > Website.
Set the 'Contact email' and 'Business hours' settings. Click the 'Edit' link next to each field to jump to the relevant settings section. The 'Contact email' is visible here and on the customers receipt as the 'contact info' for the order.
The 'Business hours' here dictate when the website will accept orders. If your business info is not updated with correct business hours and the website has not been refreshed, the customer can not place an order, as the order page sees the location as "closed".
Next, click the 'Enable Website' toggle to activate the site. The URL to your site is displayed when the feature is enabled.
Additionally, you can choose which categories to show or hide from the website screen. If you wish to hide a specific product from a category, navigate to the products section and toggle 'show in online store' off on the product detail screen. Typically alcoholic beverages are not allowed to be ordered online. Be sure to check your local laws if you have any questions about the laws in your area.
- Ensure at least one order-type (e.g.: Delivery, Togo) has at least one payment option (e.g.: Pay in-store).
- Set the maximum order amount above $0.00
It is recommended to adjust the minimum & maximum order times as well to ensure appropriate estimation of order ready times.
