The following settings are found in the 'Online Ordering' section of talech.com under 'Settings'.
|Enable Online Ordering||Enables or disables the online ordering feature of your microsite.|
|Auto-approve orders||When enabled, online orders will not require store approval. NOTE: The store will still need to send the order to the kitchen (if equipped with kitchen printers).|
|Minimum/Maximum Food Prep Time||These times are used to provide your customer an estimated time for the order to be ready for pickup.|
|Use dynamic order throttling||Enables feature to adjust order ready time based on number of open orders.|
|Average Order Time||With Dynamic Order Throttling enabled, average order time is used to estimate the earliest the customer's order will be ready.|
|Maximum Open Orders||With Dynamic Order Throttling enabled, this is the maximum number of orders the system will allow to be open before preventing new orders to be placed. NOTE: The open order count includes orders placed in-the-restaurant in addition to online orders.|
At least one order type must be enabled. Use the drop-down menu to select an order type that should be allowed to order online, then enable one or both of 'Pre-pay Online' or 'Pay In Store'. To enable a second order-type for online ordering, simply select another order type and choose a payment option. Selecting either payment options enables the order-type for the online ordering cart.
|Pre-pay Online||Allows customers to pay online for their order. This typically requires a separate processing account specifically for your Online Store depending on your card processors policies.|
|Pay In Store||Orders placed online can be paid online through the register app, same as all other orders.|
|Minimum Order Amount||Order total may not be below this value.|
|Maximum Order Amount||Order total may not be above this value. This prevents customers 'spamming' the store with the largest possible order.|
New Order Notifications
|Notify me by...||Choose whether you would like to receive an email or text message each time an online order is placed.|
|Email/Text (SMS)||When 'Email' is chosen, an additional field for your email address will appear. If Text (SMS) is enabled, 2 fields for your mobile number and your carrier will appear.|
These notifications will be sent to your customer automatically by email based on each action below. An optional, custom message may be entered. Click the 'Preview' link next to the toggle switch to view an example of the message.
|Send notification when order is ready||Notify your customers when the order is ready for pick-up.|
|Order Accepted Email||Notify your customers when their order is accepted by the store.|
|Order Rejected Email||Notify your customers when their order is rejected by the store.|
|Order Delayed Email||Notify your customer when their order is delayed.|
