Premium Feature: This feature is available to Restaurant Merchants with talech Premium Service Only. Table Layout allows you to set up a floor plan, view open and seated tables, open an order, and assign tables to servers.

Creating Rooms
Step 1: From the Dashboard view, tap on Tables.
Step 2: talech creates a generic room called Dining Room. Tap on the pencil in the top right corner to enter edit mode.
Step 3: Tap on the + Add Room box to create additional rooms.
Step 4: In edit mode, you can also tap on a current room to update its name.
Step 5: Hit Save in the top right corner when finished.
Creating tables and obstacles
Step 1: From the Dashboard view, tap on Tables.
Step 2: Tap one of the available Rooms.
Step 3: Tap on the pencil icon in the top right corner to enter edit mode.
Step 4: Use two fingers to pinch or zoom the blue restaurant floor canvas to create more/less table space.
Step 5: Near the top of the screen is Table Shapes and Obstacles. Tap, drag, and drop a table onto the restaurant floor.
Step 6: Once a table is on the canvas, pinch and zoom on the table to increase or decrease its size.
Step 7: Tap on the table to update its settings. You can assign a name or table #, declare the number of seats, set a table size, and make the table available or unavailable.
Step 8: Hit Save and hit Save again in the top right corner of the screen.
Starting orders in Table Layout
Step 1: From the Dashboard view, tap on Tables.
Step 2: Tap an available room.
Step 3: Tap one of the tables that are currently green.
Step 4: A window prompt will appear. You can verify that the correct table is selected, enter the number of guests, select a server, and enter a customer account if applicable.
Step 5: Tap the green Start Order button.
Creating table turn thresholds:
Better track how long guests have occupied tables with two fully customizable thresholds: warning time and overtime.
To set a timing threshold:
Step 1: Navigate to Back Office > Settings > Tables:
Step 2: Set a warning threshold (will turn a table orange when at or over threshold) or over the threshold (will turn a table red when at or over threshold). If a threshold time is set to 0, then the threshold will not appear.
