To account for merchant transaction fees on credit purchases, reports provide a section with the calculated fee charged on a transaction tip. The timesheet report will include a line item for each employee with the calculated amount. This is an amount that can be deducted from wages if decided by your payroll accountant. The fee percentage can get set from the “Settings” area on the Register app. To start :
Step 1 : From the main Register, tap on “Dashboard” ⇨ “Back Office” ⇨ “Settings”.
Step 2 : Tap on “Tips Withheld”.
Step 3 : Enter the percentage rate based on your merchant fees, then tap on “Done”.
The fees on transactions can be seen in the Time Sheet reports. You’ll pull this report up from the Dashboard. To start :
Step 1 : Load http://talech.com in your web browser, click "Log in" on the top right and login to the Dashboard. First, select "Reports" along the top.
Step 2 : Then select the range right below.
Step 3 : Then click on "Employees" along the left and “Time Sheet”. When the graph appears, click on the blue button to the top right of the graph for the spreadsheet detail.
This will provide you with a report showing the "Tips Withheld" column in an Excel spreadsheet which can be saved to your desktop.
