Introduction: This article will walk you through on How to Save and Recall Open/Closed Orders. Once an order is sent to the kitchen, you may need to recall the order. The order must be saved to recall it. If the order is discarded, you will need to re-start the order process.
Note: Retail accounts can load previous days transactions from the Orders > Closed view up to a few thousand. Restaurant accounts can only see the current business days orders.
How to Save an Order:
Step 1: Tap the Send button to send items to the kitchen, this saves the order automatically.
Step 2: Tap the Save button, if an item has not been sent.
Step 3: Tap the Close button. You'll be prompted to Save, Discard, or Cancel the order.
How to View your Open/Closed Orders:
Step 1: Tap the Orders button on the top right of the Register screen.
Step 2: Tap Orders from the Register Dashboard
Note: Toggle between Open,Closed, and Online (if subscribed to talech's Online Ordering) orders at the top center of the Order Screen.
Step 3: For Merchants with talech Premium, there is a table layout option that displays the table number, guest at the table, and server currently assigned to the table.
How to recall your Open/Closed Orders:
Step 1: From talech Register Select Order
Step 2: From the Order view tap on the order you wish to recall
- All orders are listed Chronologically (recent on top)
- Use the Search to narrow down an order by Table, Guest Name, Guest Count, or Order Number
Step 3. Now that you have recalled the Open/Closed Order you can continue with updating this specific Order.
