This article will show you how to process a payment, view the order screen from the Register, and general tips and actions within the Register.

To process a payment, first, start by tapping an item to add it to the current order. In the bottom right corner of the Poynt's display, the 'No Sale' button will read 'Checkout' and show the current order total.
Press this button to access the tender payment screen. Select your preferred payment option, make sure the amount is correct, and press either Start Payment (credit only) or Pay to complete the transaction.
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the sale and give out any change due and/or a receipt.
Viewing Order Screen
While in the Register screen, there will be an 'All Orders' button in the bottom left-hand corner. this will only appear if you are not currently editing an open order. Pressing this button will take you to a list of all of your orders.
Quick Open and Close:
If you have new order with items included, you can drag up from the 'Pay' button with one finger to show the current order. To minimize this, you can press (with one finger) in the middle of the screen, and drag down.
While in the Register view, there is a barcode button in the top right. Press this to open either the customer-facing or the merchant-facing camera to scan barcodes. If you scan an unrecognized barcode, the system will prompt you to create a custom item.
While in the Register view, there is a search button at the very top. You can use the search feature to find products by name, item number, or barcode.
