Summary
Many countries no longer support the smallest coin denomination. So we have added a Cash Rounding setting which will round up or down to the nearest $0.05 denomination. This setting is added in version 4.6.1.
Note: This setting does not appear for US accounts.
Setting
To Enable this Setting from the Register, go to Dashboard > Back Office > Settings > General (on the left) > Scroll to the Order Subsection (on the right) > Enable Cash Rounding
Register
The change of behavior will only be noticed while taking a cash payment.

In Action
In the following example, we have an order for $6.99. If paying by credit, then the total will stay at $6.99
However if the Tender Type is changed to Cash, then Cash Rounding will occur to the nearest $.05 denomination. In this case, it rounds up to $7.00
This is what the order will look like from the Closed Order section. It will show the total cash payment and the amount rounded.
Reporting
To see how much Cash Rounding has occurred, you can view this in Dashboard > Reports > Summary Report > Split by Payment Type > Cash Rounding
Cash Rounding can also be viewed on the web. It can be found in the Payment Tender Type section. Also in the downloaded Net Revenue Report and Dashboard report. Simply expand the Cash section by selecting the blue ">"
