Summary:
In version 4.7.4, we added an Inventory Log feature within the Application. Inventory Log is a Premium Feature that previously has only been on the Website. This article will go over the basics on how to use the Inventory Log feature, and explain the differences between the two platforms.

Viewing Inventory Log:
While viewing the Register,
- Select Dashboard
- Select Back Office
- Select Inventory
All products with Inventory Tracking enabled will appear in this section. If you are looking for a specific product, either use the search tool at the top or scroll down until you find the product. Once found, simply click on the product name.
Inventory Log:
By default, the Inventory Log will show actions for the past 7 days. The maximum date range allowed is 90 days. To change the date range, select the date range at the top to prompt the calendar view. Then select the desired date range then press 'Done.'
Actions and Details:
There are 4 types of actions that the Inventory Log will track. They are:
Add | This represents when inventory is added. This can be done manually, through Stock Take, Purchase Orders, etc. |
Remove | This represents when inventory is removed. This can be done manually, through Stock Take, |
Sale | This represents when inventory is removed via a Sale. |
Return | This represents when inventory is added via a Return. |
You can sort by specific actions by pressing "Actions" in the top left corner, then selecting which actions you want to view.
In addition to the above actions, there are more columns with provide more details about the columns. Such as Date, Time, Employee, Details, Starting Quantity (before the action), the amount changed, and Ending Quantity (after the action).
Viewing More Information:
For Sales and Refunds, you can view more info about the orders associated with it. To the right of "Ending Quantity," there will be a ">" button indicating that you can view more info. When you select this button, the order associated with the action will appear.
You can also complete refunds, add customer information to the order, or reprint receipts directly from this dialog.
