Introduction of Curbside Pick Up.
Curbside Pickup as an order type allows your Customers to order ahead and notify you once they have arrived. This article will show How your customers select Curbside Pickup, as well as What the Merchant sees from talech Register.
Once a customer places an order on the merchant's website they will navigate to the Order Cart where they will have an option to Select an Order Type.
The customer can also set the "Ready Time" as to when they want to pick up their Curbside order.
Once the order is completed the customer will receive an Order Confirmation to the email address they provided on the order.
When the Customer reaches the business they will select I'M HERE to acknowledge they have arrived.
They can also obtain directions to the business from the Order Confirmation page by selecting Get Directions.
Once the Customer selects I'M HERE , from their device they will have their Curbside Order Number for the Merchant to identify the correct Customer.
The Customer will also see status changes as their order is being prepared.
