Barcode scanner: Barcodes can be scanned via the Moby built-in camera. Also, external scanner options are applicable with the Moby Smart Stand. Please see this article for specific scanner options - Moby Scanners details HERE. Bluetooth Devices: For printers, we recommend utilizing a Network Driven Printer or a USB Printer with a Moby Smart stand setup. Gift Cards At this time Gift Card utilization in talech is manual entry only, swipe is not available for Moby Devices. Kiosk Mode: Kiosk Mode (Guest Mode) is NOT available on the Moby at this time. Transactions: Moby currently does NOT support debit pin transactions. |

Moby will have a new USB printer that will work with Moby only (excluding the c150).
Take the USB 654, plug it into the Moby Smart Stand via USB and select “auto detect Star". If you remove the device (Moby from the smart stand) I believe you need to reconnect the printer again though. This printer does NOT function with the Moby C150 |
Setup your New Moby M70, M100, or M120 |

NOTE: Before setup, make sure that you have plugged in and fully charged your New Moby Tablet to avoid any setup interruptions or issues. Step by Step Instructions:Step 1: Power on your moby by pressing and holding the power button for 5 seconds. During the moby's power on the phase you will see an Ingenico screen for a period of ~2 min Step 2: Select Get Started from the Welcome Screen. Step 3: On the next screen select "Set up as New" Step 4: Connect to your network connection.
Note: After your network is connected, your Moby Tablet will search for updates and configure settings. Step 5: Sign in to your Google Account (Optional) To skip Sign in to Google Account > Press skip > Confirm skip Step 6: Scroll down and confirm Google Services by selecting Next. Step 7: Name your Moby Device. Step 8: Next, you to create a passcode to log in to the Moby Device (optional) To skip creating a passcode, select the Not Now, then press skip to confirm no passcode. *Note, this passcode is not the same as your talech register pin or password Step 9: Select "Set-up Later" to continue. Now you will be on your Moby home screen, click on "Got It" to complete setup. Now you can continue to the next section to install the talech Register. |
