If you or your customer are using talech's Online Ordering solution you can request that ZIP requirement be enabled for your online orders. While omitting a ZIP will not prevent a transaction from being approved, ZIP does provide an added layer of security and you may benefit from preferential interchange rates.
The ZIP requirement is easily activated on your account. To have this security feature enabled simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your email must include the following:
Message: "I/My customer am/is requesting that zip code entry is turned ON for their online ordering account"
Merchant Identification Number (MID)
Business Name( DBA)
Once submitted our team will endeavour to activate the ZIP requirement within 24-48 hours.
