The Star Micronics sm-t300i is a Bluetooth thermal printer most commonly used as a receipt printer. It is a portable printer with a rechargeable battery, the printer can be attached to a pouch or belt for mobile printing.
Please note Bluetooth devices are not compatible with Android registers, such as the Poynt, Newland and Moby.
The paper compatible with this printer must be thermal paper and have a width 80mm and diameter 50mm.
The paper must be loaded with the paper being fed under the roll.
Inserting the battery
You can take out the battery at the back of the printer. Please note that the printer must be turned off before you try to insert the battery.
First insert the bottom of the battery with the two clip hinges then push the top of the battery into the slot until the hook slips into place.
The battery can be charged while still inside the printer, the charging port can be found to the bottom left of the LED display.

In order to connect
- Press and hold the ‘POWER’ button for approx. 3 seconds and printer is turned on then it is ready to pair.
- Tap the name of the printer in the iOS Bluetooth Settings to pair. If pairing fails, try the pairing procedure above once again as the printer may have timed out. If pairing continues to fail, please refer to Apple's documentation for difficulty pairing devices with iOS.
